Azhar Ali on a new journey in cricket, becomes consultant for Scotland cricket team

Former Pakistan cricket team captain Azhar Ali has stepped into the world of coaching after retirement. Cricket Scotland has issued a formal announcement confirming that Azhar Ali has joined the Scotland cricket team as a consultant. Currently, this responsibility has been assigned for the tour of Nepal.

Scotland’s upcoming assignment is the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 in which they will face Nepal and the USA. Azhar Ali’s experience and his deep understanding of Test cricket can certainly prove beneficial for an emerging team like Scotland.

Azhar Ali said on this occasion that he is very excited to work with Scotland and also reminded that he has been associated with Scotland at the beginning of his career. He said that it is an exciting challenge for him to help this talented team move forward.
