During the investigation into the shooting incident involving Indian actor Tiger Shroff, police sources have claimed that the intended targets of the alleged assailants were, in fact, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan. According to Indian media reports, the suspects allegedly had links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and had initially been instructed to target Aamir Khan.
Investigative sources state that the suspects stayed in Mumbai for approximately one month, during which time they conducted surveillance around Aamir Khan’s residence on at least three occasions. However, due to the actor’s busy shooting schedule and the fact that he rarely left his home, the alleged assailants were unable to execute their plan.
Why was the decision made to target Tiger Shroff?
According to reports, after failing to reach Aamir Khan, the suspects decided to target Tiger Shroff instead. Police sources indicate that the actor frequently visited a park in the Juhu area of Mumbai on Sundays to play football, which led the alleged assailants to devise a plan to target him.
Claims of prior threats against Aamir Khan
According to police sources, Aamir Khan had also allegedly received threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in July of this year. Indian media outlets have cited investigative sources regarding these details, which emerged during the probe into the shooting incident involving Tiger Shroff.
So far, no further official details regarding these claims have been released.
