Meta introduces Muse Image feature for Instagram and WhatsApp

Technology company Meta has introduced a new AI image generation feature for Instagram and WhatsApp for the first time, through which users will be able to create new images and modify existing images with the help of only written instructions or simple sketches.

According to the company, this generative AI feature called Muse Image has been developed by Meta Super Intelligence Lab and is being added to the Meta AI chatbot.

Meta says that Muse Image will play the role of a creative partner for users who will transform their ideas into high-quality images.

Users will be able to download the finished images as well as share them directly in their Instagram feed, story or WhatsApp chat.

According to the company, if a user wants to create a new image or modify an existing image, he only has to express his desire in simple language, while Meta AI will do all the rest.

Meta said that Instagram and WhatsApp have more than 3 billion users worldwide. However, Muse Image is currently being introduced in a phased manner only in select countries, after which it will be expanded to more countries.
