Karan Johar unfollowed many Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan

Bollywood director Karan Johar has taken a sudden big step on Instagram and unfollowed several celebrities.

These include Shah Rukh Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and his close friend Manish Malhotra.

After this move, speculations started on social media. Some people linked it to the failure of Karan's recent films, while others suggested the possibility of internal differences in Bollywood.

Later, Karan Johar himself explained and wrote in his Instagram story that he is on a 'digital detox' and is unfollowing everyone to spend less time on Instagram. He said that this is not a big news, so the media and people should not pay much attention to it.

Interestingly, Priyanka Chopra is still in his follow list, while close stars like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Kareena Kapoor and Malaika Arora have disappeared from the list.

Currently, Karan Johar is following only 78 people, including Ali Zafar, Fawad Khan, and Mahira Khan.
