Gold prices fall for second consecutive day, down Rs 1,200 per tola

Gold prices fell for the second consecutive day in global and local markets on Wednesday. The price of gold per ounce in the international market fell by $12 to $4,766 per ounce.
Due to the impact of the global market, gold also became cheaper in Pakistan and the price of 24-carat gold per tola fell by Rs1,200 to Rs498,962. The price of gold per 10 grams fell by Rs1,029 and the new price became Rs427,779.
Silver rates also fell, silver per tola fell by Rs34 to Rs8,324 and silver per 10 grams fell by Rs29 to Rs7,136. Both gold and silver prices had declined yesterday as well.
