A 52-member high-level Chinese business delegation arrives in Pakistan for the first time to give new momentum to CPEC

A major breakthrough has been made in Pak-China trade relations. A 52-member high-level business delegation from China has come to Pakistan for the first time and will stay here from May 8 to 14. During this time, meetings will continue in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi and agreements worth billions of dollars are expected to be signed under CPEC.
According to the Pak China Business Council, the delegation will sign B2B agreements in various sectors, the details of which are as follows:
- E-Commerce, Telecom, Solar and Energy sector agreements in Islamabad
- Engineering, Chemical, Textile and Building Material agreements in Lahore
- Electric Vehicle, Medical and Industrial Equipment agreements in Karachi
Meetings have been scheduled with all the chambers of Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, including the Federation Chamber of Commerce. G2G agreements are also expected in Karachi at the government level.
The most important thing is that both countries have decided to establish a joint Economic Headquarters to give a permanent structure to trade, digital economy and industrial cooperation, which will provide a stronger foundation for the business relations of the two countries in the coming time.
