Shadab Khan signs contract with Lancashire Lightning

Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan has signed a contract with England's leading T20 team Lancashire Lightning.
According to the details, Shadab Khan will represent Lancashire in the remaining matches of the 2026 Vitality Blast.
27-year-old Shadab Khan has been included in the squad as a replacement for Australian all-rounder Chris Green, who has been ruled out of the remaining matches of the season due to injury.
The Pakistani star will join the team immediately and will be available for the upcoming match against Leicestershire Foxes.
Shadab Khan has previously represented Sussex Sharks and Yorkshire in English county cricket, while he has also proven his skills in various franchise leagues around the world.
Shadab Khan's record in T20 international cricket is very impressive. He has played 124 T20 matches for Pakistan, scoring 1009 runs at a strike rate of 144 and taking 123 wickets.
After the agreement, Shadab Khan expressed his happiness and said that he has always loved playing cricket in England and it is an honor for him to be a part of a historic and big club like Lancashire.
