FIFA President Gianni Infantino has confirmed that US President Donald Trump will attend the 2026 World Cup final and present the trophy to the winning team.
According to the details, the 2026 FIFA World Cup final will be played on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Although Trump has not yet reached the stadium to watch any match of the tournament, according to the FIFA President, he will be present at the final.
In an interview, Gianni Infantino said that he and Trump will enjoy the final together and will also present the trophy to the winning team.
The World Cup is underway in the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11, in which a total of 104 matches will be played, of which the United States is hosting 78 matches.
According to Andrew Giuliani, executive director of the White House World Cup Task Force, President Trump has not been able to attend any match due to his busy schedule, but he is interested in major sporting events.
