QAHE Signs Memorandum of Understanding with International Accreditation Agencies

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is delighted to announce the signing of three significant Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with prominent international accreditation agencies. These partnerships will foster reciprocal recognition and strategic collaboration to promote excellence in education and quality assurance across borders.

The first MOU has been established with the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency, Kyrgyz Republic (IARC/NIARS). IARC/NIARS is the leading accreditation agency in the Kyrgyz Republic, dedicated to ensuring quality assurance in education. The Institute has obtained a license from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and has fostered collaborations within the country, including a memorandum of cooperation and interaction with the Agency for Education Quality Control and Career Development. The MOU with IARC/NIARS will pave the way for joint initiatives and knowledge sharing between the two organizations.

The second MOU has been signed with the Agency for Accreditation of Educational Organizations and Programs "Sapattuu Bilim." Registered with the Ministry of Justice in 2016, "Sapattuu Bilim" operates in accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Education" and other relevant regulations. The agency has demonstrated its commitment to quality education by developing internal regulatory documents and actively participating in international networks and associations. Their full membership in the International Network of Agencies for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and the Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN) further validates their dedication to international best practices. The collaboration between QAHE and "Sapattuu Bilim" will contribute to the promotion of educational excellence and quality assurance in the region.

The third MOU has been established with the Tamilnadu Council for Open and Distance Learning (TCODL), India. TCODL is an autonomous council established for the development of education under the guidelines of the National Education Policy 1986 and the Programme of Action 1992, Government of India. As an institutional member of the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE), TCODL is committed to promoting quality education through open and distance learning. The partnership between QAHE and TCODL will play a pivotal role in advancing quality assurance in open and distance learning and fostering educational excellence in India.

These MOUs mark significant milestones in QAHE's ongoing efforts to establish collaborations with esteemed organizations worldwide, ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance in education. By sharing best practices, expertise, and resources, these partnerships will contribute to the continuous improvement of the education sector and benefit students, institutions, and stakeholders globally.
