Mobiz opens regional office in Pakistan, further expansion in technology sector likely

American technology company Mobiz has established its regional office in Pakistan. The opening of the company's Karachi office is being hailed as a positive development for Pakistan's IT sector and local technology talent.
Chairman SECP Dr. Kabir Ahmed Sidhu welcomed the inauguration of Karachi office of Mobiz Global and congratulated the company on its arrival in Pakistan.
He said that Mobiz is a Pakistani-owned technology company whose center is in the Silicon Valley of America. The company provides services worldwide in various fields including cloud computing, data, artificial intelligence and cyber security.
Dr. Kabir Ahmed Sidhu said that the youth of Pakistan has a great potential to work in the global IT market. According to him, the arrival of global technology companies in the country is a sign that international confidence in Pakistani IT talent is increasing.
He said that Pakistan has opportunities that can be exploited to transform it into a major technology and global services center in the region.
According to Chairman SECP, the organization is working on transparency, digital system and regulatory reforms to improve the business environment. The use of modern technology can reduce the time and costs of doing business while improving transparency and efficiency in work processes.
He further said that the presence of global IT companies in Pakistan can open up new avenues for local youth to work internationally as well as jobs.
Dr. Kabir Ahmed Sidhu wished the company all the best on the inauguration of Mobiz Global's Karachi office and hoped that Mobiz would expand its activities in Pakistan in the future.
