Alia Bhatt joins 'Tumbbad 2', film's budget is Rs 100 crore

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has been confirmed to join the film ‘Tambad 2’, after which there was a wave of excitement among the fans.

Actor Soham Shah announced on Instagram, writing, “A new journey has begun.” He also welcomed Alia Bhatt to ‘Tambad 2’.

According to the details, this film will be Alia Bhatt’s first full-fledged horror film. Her role will not be a short one but will be an important part of the story, which is connected to a major turning point in the film.

Alia Bhatt said in her statement that Tambad had settled in her mind since she saw it for the first time. It is an honor for me to be a part of this unique and mysterious world. She is also excited to work with Soham Shah and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

According to reports, the budget of the film has been kept at around 100 crore Indian rupees, while a large set is also being prepared for its shooting in Mumbai. Directed by Adesh Prasad, this film will hit theaters on December 3, 2027.
