How to Make Dark Pink

To make a dark pink you just modify the ratio of your pink mixture. You can make your pink mixture darker by adding a little bit of red hue. If you want to make a very dark plum pink color you can add little bit of black or purple color.

How to Make Light Pink

If you want a light pink color, you just simply increase the quantity of white color in the mixture and keep adding white color until you get the shade you are looking for.

How to Make Pink without White

You can mix yellow shade, like cadmium lemon yellow with red color to get a pink color. You can also use a very pale yellow to fuse it into a pink hue.

Muting Pink Shades

Muted color is one that is not as drenching as a bright color. Colors are muted by mixing them with colors such as brown or green, white or grey, and black as well.

Pink and Neutral Colors

Neutral shades like grey and brown are very effective with pink. They fuse nicely with pink and are satisfying to the eye. If you are using these neutral color combinations, it is preferable to lighten or tone down your pink shades.

Shades of pink

• Fuchsia Pink:

To get fuchsia pink you have to mix red, pink, and purple colors together, but on computer screens, you have to mix blue and red light at equal and full intensity to get fuchsia. It is a dark color, less bright and it has less vibrancy than a hot pink color.

• Rose Pink:

To get rose pink you have to start with a red base and then mix a very small amount of blue to get a purplish shade and then, from there start adding white color, which will lighten the shade to create rose pink.

• Hot Pink:

Mix silver and white with your paintbrush, after that slowly integrate small dabs of red color in the mixture. Continue to do this until you have attained the shade of hot pink you want. It is brighter, lighter in shade, and looks more vibrant than fuchsia pink.

• Dusty Pink:

Dusty pink is a very bright and delicate color. It is obtained by mixing three colors: white, red, and beige. It is frequently mistaken for pastel pink, even though it looks very different.

• Pink Gold:

• Magenta Pink:

Magenta pink can be obtained by mixing baby pink and purple together. But you have to start with baby pink and then start adding purple color to the mixture. Keep mixing until you achieve the magenta pink.

• Peachy Pink:

Peachy pink is soft color. First you have to mix red and white color together, after that blend light yellow color with the mixture of red and white color you have made before.
