Field Marshal Asim Munir vows to continue operations until terrorism is completely eradicated

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir addressed the participants of the 20th National Workshop Balochistan at the General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi and said that operations against Fitna-ul-Kharij and Fitna-ul-Hindustan will continue until terrorism is eliminated.

He said that the continuous efforts of the security forces and law enforcement agencies, along with the unwavering support of the people, will ensure the establishment of lasting peace in Balochistan.

The Field Marshal reiterated his resolve that operations against Fitna-ul-Kharij and Fitna-ul-Hindustan will continue with full force until terrorism and its facilitators are completely eliminated. Wherever in Pakistan, the infrastructure of terrorists poses a threat to national security, he remains steadfast in his resolve to eliminate it.

He said that proxy elements working under external patronage are constantly trying to sabotage unrest, instability and peace in Balochistan, however, the armed forces will thwart these nefarious intentions with the unity and steadfastness of the people.

Field Marshal Asim Munir termed Balochistan as the pride of Pakistan and said that this province is rich in immense natural resources, patriotic, talented and courageous people, who are the real strength of Balochistan.

Field Marshal said that the federal and provincial governments are implementing people-friendly and comprehensive projects for the socio-economic development of Balochistan, which are aimed at changing the destiny of the province.

He appreciated the positive role of civil society, universities, media and youth in promoting national unity and said that national unity, independence and joint efforts are indispensable to address the challenges facing the country and lay the foundation for a bright future.

According to the ISPR, a detailed question-and-answer session was also held with the participants at the end of the ceremony at GHQ, in which the participants reiterated their commitment to the stability, development, peace and sovereignty of Pakistan.
