Announcement of reduction in the price of flour by Rs. 8 per kg in Karachi

On the instructions of Sindh Secretary Syed Asif Haider Shah, successful negotiations were held between Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi and flour mill owners on the price of flour in Karachi on Sunday at the Commissioner Karachi’s office.
After the negotiations, the flour mill owners announced a reduction of Rs 8 per kg in the ex-mill price, which will reduce the ex-mill price of flour from Rs 133 to Rs 125. After this decision, the wholesale and retail price of flour will also be reduced.
On this occasion, Chairman Pakistan Flour Mills Association Abdul Junaid, Vice Chairman Pakistan Flour Mills Association, Former Chairman Flour Mills Association and other members, flour mill owners, Secretary Food Ghulam Abbas, Chairman Chief Minister Inspection Inquiries and others attended.
It was decided that this decision to reduce the price of flour will be implemented immediately. On this occasion, the association announced that the flour mill owners will also set up fair price stalls of flour at a low price to provide relief to the citizens.
